Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Section I and Section VIII?
ASME Section I covers fired steam boilers (direct flame heating). Section VIII covers unfired pressure vessels like steam receivers, heat exchangers, and process tanks. Choose 560/563 for boilers, 570/573 for vessels.
Can these valves handle air/gas?
Series 570 and 573 are certified for both air/gas and steam service. Series 560 and 563 are steam-only.
